When payment is taken
When payment is taken depends on how many hours remain until the reserved start time at the moment you submit the request (it is counted in hours, not calendar days). Requests submitted 168 hours (7 days) or less before the reserved start time: we place a credit card authorization (hold) when you submit the request, and charge the final amount when a salon accepts it. If you apply to several salons at once, the hold is for the highest of their totals and you are charged the amount of the salon that accepts. If no salon accepts by the response deadline, the hold is released and nothing is charged. Requests submitted more than 168 hours (7 days) before the reserved start time: no authorization is made when you submit the request. After a salon accepts, we email you a payment link about 168 hours (7 days) before the reserved start time (or shortly after acceptance, if the salon accepts later than that), and your card is charged when you complete the payment. Payment is due no later than 72 hours before the reserved start time, and the booking is cancelled automatically if payment is not completed by then. If no salon accepts by the response deadline, the request expires and nothing is charged.
Payment methods
Credit card only (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB). Card processing is handled by Stripe.
Delivery / service timing
The service is provided at the confirmed salon on the reserved date and time. Treatments are performed by the salon; we handle the booking and the payment.
Cancellations and refunds
Because the service is a treatment performed at the salon, purchases cannot be returned. Cancellation is governed by a single platform-wide policy, not by individual salon rules, based on the time remaining before the reserved start time. Fees are a percentage of the booking total, i.e. the final amount of the booking including any stylist designation fee: - 24 hours or more before the visit: free (0%) - 3 to 24 hours before the visit: 50% of the booking total - Within 3 hours of the visit: 100% of the booking total - No-show: 100% of the booking total - Cancelled by the salon: free (0%), refunded in full Refunds are made through Stripe to the card used, for the amount paid less any cancellation fee. If the payment has only been authorized and not yet charged, the authorization is released instead.
